Requirements
Must-have
- 1-4 years of professional software engineering experience
- Real software engineering fundamentals : CS, systems thinking, shipping production code that stands up without being brittle. Not learned to code in the Vibe-coding era only.
- AI-native : has been built with Claude, Codex, agent frameworks, or API loops. Real production work, not vibe-prompted side projects.
- Low ego with high feedback velocity : hears feedback once, integrates it, moves on
- Speed : moves fast, ships fast
- Ambiguity tolerance : does not wait for someone to write a ticket
- Based in SF or willing to relocate. 5 days a week in-person.
- Top startup pedigree: Ramp, Cursor, xAI, or other top AI-native startups
- Selectively considered: Amazon
- College grads who are from a top-tier firm or have serious project work to show
- Prior agent infrastructure or LLM application experience
- Active GitHub or open source contributions
