For software engineers, new grad to staff
A quieter way to get hired.
Every engineering role at the venture-backed startups we track in SF, New York, and beyond, pulled straight from each company’s own board, often before it is anywhere else. Drop your CV once. We read it, and tell you only when a role fits.

The problem
The engineering job market isn’t broken. It’s just loud.
The recruiter inbox
Most of what lands is the wrong stack, the wrong level, or both. Nobody read the CV first. The roles you would actually want never show up.
Public job boards
Half the listings closed months ago. The ones still up get a thousand applications. The best roles fill quietly, before the post ever goes up.
Looking out loud
You don't want LinkedIn telling your team you're open. You don't want a recruiter shopping you around. You want one quiet conversation, when it makes sense.
What we built
Four things that respect your time.
Straight from the source.
Every engineering role at the venture-backed startups we track, new grad to staff, pulled from each company's own board and refreshed daily. Often before it is listed anywhere else. No reposts, no roles that died months ago.
A CV check that doesn't lie.
Pick a role, drop your CV, and get a 0-100 score with concrete strengths and gaps. The read a senior engineering lead would write before a hiring panel. The AI does the first pass, a person checks it.
Introductions, not applications.
Drop your CV in the pool and we score every new role against it. When something fits and you say yes, we introduce you straight to the hiring lead. No application black hole.
Anonymous until you say so.
Your name reaches no company until you approve the introduction. No marketplace, no opt-out lists, no “top candidate” email landing in your current boss's inbox.
What you'll actually see
Roles that match your level and stack, not the ones a recruiter sprayed.

Stack overlap, level, city, comp, funding stage. Every new role runs through the same scoring loop. You see only the matches that clear your bar.
How it works
Drop a CV, get a read, decide on the intro.
Drop your CV
Two minutes. Tell us your cities, your level, and what would make you move. PDF or text.
We read it against the board
Every open role, plus the ones founders brief us on before they post. We score each against your profile and reach out only when something fits.
You decide on the intro
We send the role and a straight read. If you're in, we introduce you to the hiring lead directly. If you're not, nothing happens.
CV check
See how your CV reads to a senior engineering lead.
Pick any role on the board and drop your CV. You get a 0-100 fit score against the real job description, plus the read a senior engineering lead would write before a hiring panel. Private to you.

FAQ
Straight answers.
Who sees my CV?
Only the team at roles.cc. We don't broadcast it. We don't list you in a marketplace. No company sees your name until you have said yes to a specific introduction.
What if I'm only passively looking?
That's most of the pool. Tell us what would make you move and we'll get in touch when a role on the board fits. Otherwise we leave you alone.
Do I have to go through you to apply?
No. Every role on the board links to the company's own posting, and you can apply directly. Dropping a CV here adds two things: introductions for the roles that fit, and visibility into roles we hear about before they're posted.
What does the CV check actually score?
It compares your CV against the real job description from the company's own board and returns a 0-100 fit score, a one-line read, and concrete strengths and gaps. Calibration: 90+ means we'd push for an onsite, 75-89 is a clear yes-to-screen, 55-74 is worth a call, below 55 isn't a fit yet.
What levels do you cover?
Every level: new grad, junior, mid, senior, and staff. We pull each company's full engineering req list, so whatever you are, the roles that fit you are on the board.
Does it cost anything?
No. The board, the CV check, and the pool are free for engineers. Companies pay us when someone we introduced is hired. Never you.
