This team builds AI agents that work alongside logistics teams to automate the operational tasks that slow every shipment. Their platform cuts customs clearance times to under 5 minutes and has already delivered 30,000+ hours back to brokerage teams. They have moved well past zero to one, with a strong MoM revenue growth, and customers processing meaningful operational volume every day. $5M raised from First Round Capital and Pear VC. A deeply technical founding team from Google, LinkedIn, and Salesforce, with backgrounds from top schools and AI research labs. About the Role Amari AI is hiring Full Stack Engineers to own core systems across the full stack, from backend services and data pipelines to the product surfaces that operations teams use every day. You will build and scale the Python and TypeScript backend services, design PostgreSQL databases, manage AWS infrastructure, orchestrate workflows with Temporal, and ship React frontend surfaces, all with full ownership of what you build in production. This is a high-ownership role at a company past zero to one with real traction Compensation Salary Range: $210,000 - $285,000 Equity: 0.25% - 0.6%

What you'll own

• Build and scale backend services using Python, FastAPI, and TypeScript that power Amari's AI agent workflows
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database models and queries for high-throughput document processing
• Build and manage infrastructure on AWS and orchestrate workflows using Temporal
• Architect and ship React frontend surfaces that give operations teams visibility and control over automated workflows
• Build intuitive human-in-the-loop AI interfaces that make AI outputs transparent, explainable, and manageable
• Own AI agent integrations, document ingestion pipelines, and real-time processing systems
• Work directly with founders and customers to ship fast and iterate on what matters

Requirements

Must-have

• 5 to 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and React, with the ability to architect complex state management for data-intensive applications
• Strong command of Python for backend services and advanced SQL (PostgreSQL) for database design and query optimization
• Startup experience at a legitimate company, not just a two or three-person side project
• Bias for action, prefers shipping over over-engineering, and drives cross-functional delivery with minimal supervision
• Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, fully in-person
• Visa: H-1B transfers, OPT, O-1 all considered, no new sponsorship

Nice-to-have

• Experience integrating AI APIs and handling complex document extraction workflows
• Background at a top 50 school
• Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or enterprise workflow software
• Excitement about equity over base and desire to be part of an early high-ownership team
