<div><span><span>Position Summary</span></span> <span><span>We are seeking highly motivated Pipeline Engineers with expertise in transmission and distribution oil & gas pipelines, specializing in asset integrity and MAOP (Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure) validation. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and reliability of pipeline systems for our clients.</span></span> </div><div><span><span>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</span></span></div>- <span><span>Perform MAOP validation by gathering data, conducting calculations, and verifying compliance with regulations and industry standards. </span></span>- <span><span>Review and analyze technical documentation, including as-built drawings, BOMs (Bills of Materials), MTRs (Material Test Reports), and POs (Purchase Orders) for accuracy and completeness. </span></span>- <span><span>Provide technical expertise in pipeline integrity management, including risk assessments, corrosion control, and maintenance planning. </span></span>- <span><span>Support project teams with recommendations to mitigate risks and improve pipeline performance. </span></span>- <span><span>Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing inquiries promptly. </span></span>- <span><span>Review engineering documents for accuracy, compliance, and quality. Use MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, advanced functions) for data management, analysis, and reporting. </span></span>- <span><span>Stay current on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes. </span></span>- <span><span>Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regulatory agencies to ensure safety and compliance. </span></span>- <span><span>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing consultancy processes and implementing best practices. </span></span>- <span><span>Manage projects to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.</span></span><span><span>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</span></span>- <span><span>Solid understanding of pipeline design, construction, inspections, and pressure testing is advantageous. </span></span>- <span><span>Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, API 1104, and DOT pipeline regulations. </span></span>- <span><span>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. </span></span>- <span><span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </span></span>- <span><span>Ability to work both independently and in team environments.</span></span><span><span>Education & Experience</span></span>- <span><span>U.S. Citizen (Houston-based candidates preferred). </span></span>- <span><span>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or Pipeline Engineering (or related field). </span></span>- <span><span>5–8 years of relevant experience in oil & gas transmission/distribution pipelines, asset integrity, or MAOP validation. </span></span>- <span><span>Strong knowledge of pipeline records review (as-builts, BOMs, MTRs, POs). Proficiency in MS Excel</span></span>
